More snow pictures

After Jacob's nap, he wanted to go back outside. The older kids were all at friends houses so I only let them venture to the deck but they had fun anyways. Even Rex got in on the action. This was his first snow. :)

Jacob would point to the sky and say "SNOOOOOOW"

Rex was going crazy!

CHEESE!

Georgia Snow '09

Nothing like getting snow on March 1! This was Jacob's first time in the snow so needless to say, he didn't want to come in. The other kids couldn't wait to get in it. They are forcasting 1-3" for our town. We have about 1/2" right now and it's still snowing.
Some of the snowflakes were as big as golfballs!

Mikayla was excited to make a snowball

Trying to eat snowflakes. Seth was at a neighbors so I didnt' get him playing in it.

New Hair Cut

I don't think I showed this yet. :) It's not the greatest pic, but you sort of get the idea. It's about shoulder length and I have bangs, something I haven't had in YEARS.

Odyessey of the Mind 2009

Yesterday was Mikayla's Odyessey of the Mind and I have to admit that I'm glad it's over. They put so much time into their practices, and honestly, it was a FLOP! Their costumes were horrid, their props ridiculous and the coach's daughter had the main role! I never thought I'd be one of 'those' parents to complain about special treatment, but that's totally what it was. While this girl was good, Mikayla is just as dramatic, if not more so, and could have totally pulled off the role. Instead, she was a pegasus, and her line was "neigh". That's it! Parents aren't allowed to help at all in the costume design and Mikayla made a great paper mache nose for her costume, then decided last minute to use a cup. It was so hard for me to let her do that, but I wasn't allowed to have a say in it.

The entire team from Austell (our schools). There were 1-5th graders all involved.

A day of Rugby

Last weekend our Rugby team had games on both Saturday and Sunday so I decided to take the kids to Sunday's games. Totally crazy! It was just a little too cold so they really weren't enjoying it. Tim had Seth down on the field and let him play waterboy for the game. He said that he did better than the rookies so it may be something Seth does for all the homegames. I think he'd really enjoy it...he sure did that day. Tim doesn't usually run water out (that's what rookies are for) but since he was training Seth, he did for this game. Right behind the bleachers is the sand volleyball pit so we stopped at the store and got a bunch of sand toys so the kids could play.

Micah and Katelyn were freezing

And Jacob just wanted toplay with stick guns.

Seth looks so small!!
